Seihakuji Kasabranca Inkoku Kaki (青白磁カサブランカ陰刻花器)
This is an Arita ware vase which Kawasaki-san has created.
He engraved the casablanca pattern and the pale blue glaze was poured gently.
Seihakuji (青白磁)
It's one kind of hakuji, there's the pale blue-green color caused by subtle amount of iron.
The transparent color that blends into nature is really impressive on the whole.
It's all started with baked works in China.
The glaze containing iron turns to light blue by reduction firing.
