Profile

One of the representative ceramic artists in Arita, Saga prefecture.
As he has accepted for many special exhibitions, his arts are appreciated from oversea countries. Many customers visit him from all parts of Japan.
Many fan visits Nakasen Kiln from each place of the whole country to watch his arts.
By his solo exhibition to be held once in two years, his arts attract many people, and they are introduced in the mass media.
He is one of the man who has inherited to make wonderful ceramic arts on a wheel trained by "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji.

Born in Arita-cho, Saga
1968
Graduation from the pottery department of Arita Industry high school
1971
Studied the technique of the potter's wheel under "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji for five years at Saga prefecture Examination Center
1972
