Profile

The representative ceramic artist to dye ceramics deep blue and deep red in Arita, Saga prefecture.
His arts have been introduced at the special exhibitions all over the world. Many prominent persons purchase his arts, especially the world-famous opera singer, MATSUMOTO, Miwako who mainly plays in Japan and Italy and the former Japanese professional baseball player, KINUGASA, Sachio are fans of his arts.
He is one of the man who has inherited to make wonderful ceramic arts on a wheel trained by "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji.

Born in Arita-cho, Saga prefecture
1968
Graduation from the pottery department of Arita Industry High School
1969
Studied the technique of the potter's wheel under "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji for six years
