Profile

His grandfather was the 13th generation of FURUTA ORIBE SETO JYUSSAKU (one of the 10 master-hands) and his father is in the founder of Seizan Kiln.
He was born in Kyotogojo in Kyoto prefecute. His works are highly acknowledged all over the world.
His masterpiece, “Sansai-Three-Color Glaze,” succeeded over generations is highly valued.
The originality and warmth in the ceramics is expressed with the traditional Sansai patterns and the mellow tone of white glaze.
As ceramics manifests, this artist is a young and energetic ceramic artist.
