Profile

His father was the founder of the avant-garde ceramics organization, "Sodeisha."
His kiln is located in Otsu, Shiga prefecture.
His molding technique is precious. The ceramics, called "Shojohi (Scarlet)," look like lacquer wares.
Regardless of the appearance, it has the characteristic of ceramic wares with the contrast of the red and black.
It is graceful and lighter than its appearance; it can be decorative art as well as practical for daily use.
Needless to say, the unique ceramics deserve considerable attention.
