Profile

He is a member of Terami, one of traditional families in Bizen.
He received many ceramic exhibitions including the Japan Traditional Art Crafts exhibition.
His arts are both warm and elegant by making of baked original Bizen Clay.
He is called the new Bizen artist so that not only he keeps Bizen’s tradition but also he adopts fresh style.

Career

1949
Born in Bizen-shi, Okayama as the son of MORI family, (Terami family who is one of the Bizen Ware Kiln Six Grand Masters)
1973
Graduation from the Department of Business, Faculty of Law and Economics in Aichi University
Studied the technique of the pottery under his father MORI, Furai
1975
