Profile

He is the eldest son of NAKAO, Yasuzumi, the master of Nakasen Kiln, which is one of the most representative kilns in Arita, Saga Prefecture, Japan.
After studying under "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji, he entered the Nakasen Kiln.
His arts are mostly white porcelain, and white porcelain with pale blue.
He has acquired many prizes in public exhibitions and has been nominated multiple times to the Japan Traditional Art Crafts exhibition.
His ability to bring out the pureness of colors and his unique sense of balance in molding is highly appraised.

Studied under "Living National Treasure" INOUE, Manji for the technique of the potter's wheel for seven years and 8 months
