This is the Bizen ware crafted by Mori, Yasushi (森泰司).
Coarse-grained soils are used and it was placed near the front in the kiln.
There was a hottest zone in a sigle--chambered kiln called "anagama".
Highly-heated pine wood ash were melted into glaze and flowed to the bottom.
It was baked to the limit of high temperature.
