Tsubo (壷)

This is the Bizen ware crafted by Mori, Yasushi (森泰司).
The jar was burned at the place where strong fire hit in the kiln.
Highly-heated pine wood ash were naturally painted on the jar.
And it's also melted by high temperature and became fallen sesame pattern, goma.
The vase was placed at the front of the kiln, and you can see the surface with flowing melted glaze.
