Ceramic Feature

Chawan (茶碗)

This is the Bizen ware crafted by Mori, Yasushi (森泰司).
It is burned near the door in the climbing kiln where ash made from spilt log by red pine was fallen.
He used the skill called fuseyaki, and the bowl was turned down to achieve such kind of smoked design.
And the color has developed brightly at the bottom of inside the tea bowl.
