Haikaburi Chawan (灰被茶碗)
This is the Hagi ware crafted by OKADA, Yuh (岡田裕).
The bowl became graceful because it was placed at the door of the kiln and buried in the ashes.
It is an excellent artwork which can be rarely taken.
Height : 9.2 cm
Diameter : 13.0 cm
OKADA is the eighth potter of Okada Kiln founded in the Edo period. Enjoy accidental color change such as pink or dark brown produced in the kiln.
