Shirohagi Guinomi (白萩ぐい吞)
This is the Hagi ware crafted by TAMAMURA, Toyo (玉村登陽).
It is baked in the climbing kiln.
He used the white glaze called "shirahagi-yu" which is one of the traditional expression in Hagi ware.
White color and getting glimpse of clay's face is characteristic.
It reminds us of bamboo's joint which was made by throwing on potter's wheel.
