Hakuyu Sakenomi (白釉酒呑)
This is the Tanba ware crafted by SHIMIZU, Ichiji (清水一二).
The iron galze called "tetsuyu" was poured on the muddy white glaze and it has become the mysterious pattern to attract us.
He has carved the cup into faced side after forming with the potter's wheel.

SHIMIZU studied the skill of ceramic in various locations, those are in Tanba, in Seto and in Bizen. He always makes an attempt to put new design into works.
