Sometsuke Karakusamon Kakuzara (染付唐草文角皿)
This is the Arita ware crafted by NAKAO, Hidezumi (中尾英純).
He shaped the dish with throwing on a potter’s wheell and painted the vines-coiled pattern by hand.
The Karakusa-monyo pattern means that the vines are growing in all directions and become tangled.
Height : 4.2 cm
Diameter : 16.5 cm
He uses washizome and sometsuke to produce clear blue color. It gives us sharp and kind impression in Arita ware.
