Keshohiki Asabachi (化粧引き浅鉢)

This is the Koishiwara ware crafted by ONIMARU, Omei (鬼丸翁明).
He poured white slip and colored lines has appeared.
The matte glaze was used to produce calm tint and it makes us feel simple, soft.
There are tobikanna repeated patterns which mean scraping off clay by a plane while turning the potter's wheel.
It is suitable for serving entree like roasted chicken, and is also appropriate for arranging flowers.
