Neritsugi Chawan (練継茶碗)
This is the ceramic crafted by HOSHINO, Tomoyuki (星野友幸).
Neritsugi means the method of joining a plain clay and marbled clay.
He made the shape by throwing on potter's wheel and made three parts.
Then he put together to make tea bowl's shape.
The marble pattern like rose are appeared at the bottom.
The red line comes out well at the seam between top and the middle part.

Diameter : 15.5 cm
Yuki kiln is built in Tokyo, and HOSHINO develops the original "Neritsugi". He won a prize in the pubic exhibitions, including the Japan Traditional Art Crafts exhibition.
