This is the ceramic crafted by KUMAMOTO, Yoshihiro (熊本義泰).
He made the shape by throwing on the potter's wheel.
"Kinuta" might be derived from the tool of hitting Japanese old cloth "kinu" to stretch the wrinkle.
The design like the rivets are attached on the shoulder.
It has clear blue color and please enjoy well-balanced shape.
Height : 28 cm
Diameter : 15.2 cm
Having trained in Kyoto, Kumamoto returned to his hometown and built the pottery in Kashima-shi. He found enlightened charm to Chinese Seiji and devotes himself to create original celadon today.
