This is the Shigaraki ware crafted by ARAKAWA, Satoshi (荒川智).
Firing in a cave kiln.
He made the shape by throwing on the potter's wheel.
The shape is flat oerall and the combination between flowing ashes and burnt patterns is fantasitic.
