Shigaraki Hiro Hanaire (信楽火色花入)
This is the Shigaraki ware crafted by ARAKAWA, Satoshi (荒川智).
He made the shape by throwing on the potter's wheel and it was fired in the kiln called "angama".
The vase has an atmosphere because we can see white balls in the fire marks.
There are two parts of dents at the shoulder as decoraton.

Arakawa moved to Shiga to make his unique ceramics. Simple design with burnt and mild natural glaze are characterized by firing in the anagama wood-fired kin.
