Hakuji Sakazuki (白磁盃)
This is the Kyoto ware crafted by HIGUCHI, Kuniharu (樋口邦春).
He made the shape with throwing the potter's wheel. Firing in the electric kiln.
The patterns are put diagonally, he finished the work with gentle hue.
The cup has five legs at the foot.
Tuning the cup over, it looks like a vortex.
Available for dishwasher, dryer and microwave oven.

He studied ceramics in Kyoto, then moved to Nara and works there. A series of choryu expresses the scene that can imagine the swirling current in the Naruto Strait.
