Tanseiyu Guinomi (淡青釉ぐい呑)

This is the Hagi ware crafted by OKADA, Yasushi (岡田泰).
He produced soft blue glaze called "tanseiyu" which expresses the beauty of the Sea of Japan.
He is searching for balance between pale blue glaze and clay's warm character.
Chamfering helps us see soil's faces on the side and the work has a design with the gentle feeling.
