Sometsuke Niho-oshizara (染付二方押皿)

This is the Arita ware crafted by NAKAMURA, Emiko (中村恵美子).
It's formed with the potter's wheel.
The floral pattern was painted with a brush contained plenty of gosu.
Gosu is a type of pigment for ceramic.
It turns to a cobalt blue after painting on a transparent glaze and applying the reduction firing gas.
