Kokuji Platinum Hakkosai Coffeewan (黒磁プラチナ箔巧彩珈琲碗)
This is a colored porcelain cup & saucer which Sato-san has created.
The body is blackened during the firing process each time he paints underglaze and overglaze enamel.
He uses Japanese "urushi"and platium foils are baked to attach the work.
A series of "soshin", means keep the breathtaking balance by shifting the foot off the center.
Feel the fun of modeling rather than usability.
