Sakuramon Sara (桜文皿)
This is a Hagi ware plate which Okada-san has created.
It is designed Japanese cherry blossoms "sakura" as a symbol of Japan.
He has used two technique "inka" and "kakiotoshi".
The former means that pushing pattern into the surface like stamp and the latter is the technique to apply a pattern by cutting clay.
"Sakura" is one of the flowers that represent Japan, so it's great as a gift in all seasons.
