  • Details:ICHINO makes ceramics at Kamitachikui, Hyogo prefecture. He is the second son of Ichino, Shinsui who was the master of modern tea utensils. His artworks can be felt as wholehearted and free shape. Ceramics are praised by foreign people as well as Japanese.

  • Details:ITOI makes porcelain at Oji-cho, Nara prefecture. It is near Horyuji temple that is the oldest wooden architecture of the world. He uses wide range of ashes and produces mild, elegant texture.

  • Details:Yuh and his-son yasushi held joint exhbiton in 2014 at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi and three years have passed since then. They contineu to keep the kiln's tradition for 200 years, and accept it and make pottery. Please see the result of three years. 44 years have passed since Yuh entered the pottery's world, and tried to various technique of Hagi Ware's tradition and his lifework is the series of "Ensai" now. "Shirohagi" which is also Hagi Ware's traditional color and "Hagi shiroyu" which is advanced technique by suppressing the luster are also tried. Yasushi proceeds to make "Tanseiyu" with the unique tone of the glaze, and expresses deeper color or shape. Recently he is enthusiastic with tea ceremony's vessel, and inventive step can be acknowledged. Please visit the exhibition.
