Ceramic Feature

Hai Kuro Chawan (萩黒茶碗)

This is a Hagi ware tea bowl which Okada-san has created.
He composed glaze with black clay made in Hagi-shi and became black color called "hikidashiguro".
The tea bowl was picked by scissors from the kiln when fired, they rapidly had the work letting cooled off.
We may see gloss and tightened appearance on the bowl.
