Suiseiji Sokamon Kaki (翠青磁草花文花器)
This is a Celadon vase which Kumamoto-san has created.
He made the shape by throwing on the potter's wheel.
He uses the skill called "katakiribori" which means engraving the pattern's outline.
He created the green color with following Chinese Song celadon fired in the Yoshuyo kiln.
Height : 28 cm
Diameter : 18 cm
Having trained in Kyoto, he got back to the hometown and opened the pottery in Kashima-shi. He found enlightened charm to Chinese Seiji and devotes himself to create original celadon today.
