Kinuta Seiji Kaki (砧青磁花器)

This is a Celadon vase which Kumamoto-san has created.
He made the shape by throwing on the potter's wheel.
"Kinuta" might be derived from the tool of hitting Japanese old cloth "kinu" to stretch the wrinkle.
The design like the rivets are attached on the shoulder.
It has clear blue color and please enjoy well-balanced shape.

Having trained in Kyoto, he went back to his hometown and opened the pottery in Kashima-shi, Saga prefecture. He found enlightened charm to Chinese Seiji and devotes himself to create original celadon today.
