Saishoku Zogan Guinomi (彩色象嵌ぐい呑)

This is an Arita ware cup which Yasuzumi-san has created.
It's made with meticulous handwork and is smooth holding the one.
Available for microwave oven, dishwasher.

Saishokoku zogan (彩色象嵌)
Yasuzumi-san has mastered inlay decoration's skill and has named "saishoku-zogan".
One day he wanted to creat something new apart from the Arita ware.
There are a wide variety of ceramic artists through all ages.
He just tried cutting soft soil to do something unusual.

While the ceramic is still soft, Yasuzumi-san uses a small knife to make cutting patterns and fill paints in them.
The design is targeted at original patterns that can't be made with a brush.
It takes a long-running time to complete.
