This is a Hagi ware tokkuri which Okada-san has created.
He expressed the image after he travelled to the Silk Road, and used soil taken in Hagi region.
The variety of nature was incorporated into the piece.
He named it "ensai" from the impression.

He is the eighth potter of Okada Kiln founded in the Edo period. "Ensai", an image from a trip along the Silk Road, which Okada-san considers a lifelong work.
