This is the Nabeshima ware crafted by AOKI, Taeko (青木妙子).
The cherry blossoms is one of the most important pattern in the Nabeshima ware.
Each cherry petal is carefully hand-painted.
"Sakura" is one of the flowers that represent Japan, so it's great as a gift in all seasons.
