Ceramic Feature

Japanese-made pottery
The title is Guinomi Darumaga-tsuki (ぐい呑 ダルマ画付き).

This is a sake cup created by Mori Teisai.

The cup was shaped by hand-build.

Volume : about 80 ml

Mori-san writes a powerful daruma painting on the side of the cup.
Japanese daruma refers to the originator of Zen Buddhism and the lucky charm which imitates it's figure.

Tare goma pattern is peculiar to the technique of Bizen ware.
Lots of ash that had adhered to the cup melted in the kiln and dripping.

The color has become silvering.

It looks like a feeling of heaviness with calm design made by kiln's burnt.
