Hikidashi :
Taking the pottery from the kiln burning just before the door is closed.
Although it's still high-fired and hot, putting into the container with rice husks called "sukumo" in Japanese,
and makes it cool down quickly. Eventually, the color turns black.
The method comes with a risk of breaking, because it's rapidly cooled, then few pieces could be taken at kiln's firing which is quite valuable.
