Senryu Kiln is the place of five minutes' drive from the Arita station, JR Sasebo Line. The kiln is near Saga prefectural Arita Techical High School. Fields open out through, and a distant view of the landscape is magnificent. Ryuzumi-san had kept on making Arita-yaki, especially sometsuke in underglaze blue pottery. Senryu-gama has opened in 2005. He studied the potter's wheel under Inoue Manji and won several prize including in various exhibition. He makes not only blue but also original color of red sometsuke, many customers come to the workkplace to see them and are suprised at its elaborate design. The sansui landscape pictures are painted by precious technique. Painting are done delicately with the minute brush or using for blue-colored gradation.
