Aiiro Shino Tsubo (藍色志野壺)

This is a Mino ware jar which Sakai-san has created.
It's brigher look than normal works of aiiro-shino.

The technique called nezumi-shino.
It's one kind of Mino-yaki.
He got a hint from that.
Applying cobalt-blue slip between glaze and clay.
It reaches to a gentle and elegant pattern.

Kairagi (梅皮花)
Pattern -
Cracks like shark's skin like the picture above.
It has occured to shrinkage of glaze after being fired in a kiln.
It's also called kannyu in Japanese.
That's anything but broken, certailny available.
Sakai-san wants users to see the tension that the pattern brings.
