Seihakuji Choryumon Tsubo (青白磁潮流文壺)

This is a Kyoto ware jar which Higuchi-san has created.
Potter's wheel throwing to shape.
Firing in the electric kiln.
The patterns are emerged diagonally, he finished the work by gradation where body is put with blue and white glaze.
It's recommended that the jar shows on the console table.

Seihakuji (青白磁)
It's one kind of hakuji, there's the pale blue-green color caused by subtle amount of iron.
The transparent color that blends into nature is really impressive on the whole.
It's all started with baked works in China.
The glaze containing iron turns to light blue by reduction firing.
