Washizome Kamon Ozara (和紙染花文大皿)
This is an Arita ware plate which Hidezumi-san has created.
He soaked traditional papers into blue paint called gosu, and expressed the petals pattern.
Enjoy watching the work, it has the beautiful indigo color shade.
Washizome technique :
Tearing absorbent paper called washi to pieces.
Making such papers layers to produce the pattern while giving out color gradation.
