Botan Karakusa Hira Pot (牡丹唐草平ポット)
This is a Mikawachi ware teapot which Satomi-san has created.
It's a picture with peony and coiled vine design called "botan karakusa-e."
That's made with brush-painted designs in underglaze cobalt blue.

Artist Introduction
SATOMI, Toshitaka

Toshitaka-san is the eighth generation potter of the Kakusho-gama that has a history over 400 years. He makes plain blue painting of sometsuke by hand-painting that's exactly the characteristic of Mikawachi ware.
