Japanese-made pottery
The title is Fukaku (風郭).
This is a ceramic sculpture created by Kako Katsumi.
The land where he creates is called a "satoyama", which is a rural area where the original landscape still remains in Japan.
The satoyama is a human-influenced natural environment found in the countryside, where traditional farming, forestry, and biodiversity coexist in harmony.
It reveals a variety of colors via four seasons.
Right now, the rice paddies are filled with water, and the planting of rice has just begun.
Even in the mountains, the vivid green color are now seen compared to the brown colors that were there a little while ago.
The landscape visible from the studio sometimes influences the work Kako-san makes,
and his pieces reflect the colors of the wind that blows far away.
The unique round shape is balanced with colorful patterns.
