SUMMARY

・Toyo-san learned ceramic under Shogetsu Tamamura, and acquired mature skill after making basic clay for a prolonged period.
・The Shoriantoyo kiln was established at Sanmi, Hagi-shi in 1975.
・He worked so hard that his both hands can manipulate the clay to complete sophisticated form with high craftmanship.
・The series of "benihagi" work have soft and elegant shades of clay.
