SUMMARY
・Toyo Tamamura was born in Hagi-shi, Yamaguchi prefecture in 1938. Many peaple lamented death of the master in 2014.
・He studied under Shogetsu Tamamura since he was 15 years old, and acquired mature skill after making basic clay for a prolonged period.
・The Shoriantoyo kiln was established at Sanmi, Hagi-shi in 1975.
・He worked so hard that his both hands can manipulate the clay to complete sophisticated form with high craftmanship.
・The series of "benihagi" works have soft and elegant shades of clay and they are attracting many fans.
