Profile
He was born in Koishikawa Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
He travelled all over the country to historic spots, the home of ceramic or kilns since he was a high school student.
Aiming at being businessman for trading company, he went to Meijigakuin university, the faculty of economics.
On the other hand, he was attractive to pottery appreciating them as a hobby by visitting to an art museum, or an exhibition.
He started studying pottery at the Kasama's kiln while at university, and afterwards he lived in Kasama.
After graduated from the university, he determined to make pottery as professional, and he entered Aichi Prefectural Seto Yogyo high school ceramic art advanced course.
And he visited every kilns to broaden his knowledge.
After graduated from high school, he studied at kiln in Kasama or Mashiko, his kiln was built at Hitachiomiya-shi, Ibaraki prefecture in 1982.
Including the Japan Traditional Art Crafts exhibition, his arts are accepted in various public exhibitions.
By his own technique named "Saideiji (colored slip painting)" , the vessel designed beige color which feels the spread of expression of the ground is popular.
