Takamoriseiji Kiln is the place of fifteen minutes' drive from the Hasamiarita interchange of Nishi Kyushu expressway. It is a quiet place with the lush, green scenery. TAKAMORI, Seiji became Japan Kogei Association regular member after selected or won the prize in various public exhibitions, including the Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition. He is from Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka prefecture and entered Arita Technical High School to learn "Yakimono" ceramics. He also studied in Kyoto. In 2003, Takamoriseiji Kiln was built in Arita-cho, Nishimatsuura-gun, Saga prefecture, he is working hard now. In the work place, it is carried out with traditional, careful handmade production. Please have a look at them. TAKAMORI's wife is the certified Imari Airta traditional craftsman, and helps making porcelain with taking charge of overglaze and underglaze painting. They always improve the technique to express original color, deep aesthetic of Koimari nowadays.
