Dohei Kiln is the place of thirty minutes' drive from Karatsu city. It is in the mountains near the Yobuko port or Nagoya Castle which designated as a National Historic Site of Japan, and is established on the gentle slope. The place will be difficult to find and the communication for vehicle navigation systems is possibly interrupted on the way, and please give the kiln a call quickly in case of getting lost. The trees and the plants grow rich in the garden around the working place and there is the tea ceremony room at a distance. There is an exhibition room for pottery and many vessels are placed such as Egaratsu, Chosengaratsu, and Madaragaratsu. FUJINOKI, Dohei and his son Yotarao has each exhibition room separately. Some pottery is fired in the climbing kiln. And other pottery is fired in the Anagama once a year. Please enjoy the Karatsu Ware which they live in modern times.

Event : "Kamadashi Guidel" four times a year. The pottery which had just come out of the kiln are exhibited, such as tableware, tea utensils, flower vessels, drinking vessels, ornament. Lunch and tea will be provided.
